This is a very easy way to get plants into your diet. It is a great smoothie for people that do not like vegetables because you can’t taste the spinach. I often add kale to this recipe when I have some in the garden ready to harvest.

As with all servings of fruit, the amount of sugar, carbs, and other nutrients depend on the size and weight of the fruit. A small banana will always have fewer carbs than a large banana, so please calculate your carbohydrate and sugar totals based on size or weight. The totals I have provided are estimates based on the fruit I used for this recipe.
