Father’s Day is just around the corner. This year get him a gift he will actually appreciate. Buying him a gift that reflects the person he is. Sure you could get him a pair of silk boxers or a personalized t-shirt, but is that really a reflection of him. I say no more generic gifts. Give your dad or husband a Father’s Day gift he will brag about all year. Here are 10 ideas to get you started.
Fitbit
Why not get your dad a Fitbit? If he is already a busy, active guy, this will be a great way for him to keep track of all that hard work. If he is not as active as he would like, a Fitbit might be just what he needs. We love that Fitbit comes in every shape, size, and color. Finding the perfect one for Father's Day should be easy.
P90x
Whether dad is in shape already or has it on his to-do list, the p90x system from Beachbody will do the trick. There are plenty of workouts to keep him challenged, plus the system comes with a meal plan and calendar to keep him on track. Why do we think this is a great Father’s Day gift? Because dads care about their health and the way they look too. P90x is an at home system he can do in his own time. He will LOVE it.
Man Crates
Is your father a golfer? If so Man Crates has an excellent gift set filled with stuff he will love. It's called the ‘Golfer’s Crate, ’ and you can find it here. We really like their ‘Muscle Hustle Fitness Crate’ loaded with protein snacks and exercise equipment. They also have crates designed for fishing, hockey, and football fans. I got my husband their ‘Folding Knife Making Crate’ for Christmas last year, and it was a big hit.
Sonos Speakers
All year my husband has been dropping hints about Sonos. He wants to upgrade our current sound system to something high tech and wireless. He really likes that Sonos can be controlled using his phone from any room. Sonos also allows you to access your digital music libraries as well as tons of free radio stations. I like the way they look. Modern and sleek. Gone are the days of large obnoxious sound systems taking up the living room. Sonos is the kind of gift he will think is for him, but it's a great gift for the entire family. You can find out more about Sonos Sound System here. They are currently having a Father's day promotion.
Season Tickets
Whose dad wouldn’t love tickets to a game or event? Whatever team you father roots for Tickets.cheap has you covered. Like their name implies they have low prices on just about any tickets you want to buy. If your dad is a music buff get him concert tickets. Whatever he is into they have tickets to get him there.
Car Detail Kit
If your dad is into cars, get him a detailing kit. I personally couldn’t imagine spending my spare time detailing a car, but trust me a car fan can. Any man in love with his car can spend all day making it cherry. He will, of course, drag you outside to look at “her” shine, but at least he will be happy. Here is a kit that includes everything he needs to shine and buff his car to a blinding high gloss finish!
Bluetooth Tracking Tag
I feel like I spend a lot of time looking for things that my husband misplaced. How many times a week can my husband lose his wallet or keys in the house? Seriously! We have a small house, and no it's not my toddler walking off with it, this has been going on for far too long. If your husband or father is always looking for his stuff, consider getting him some Blue Tooth Tracking tags for Father's Day. They can be placed inside wallets or attached to keys. Next time, your father loses his keys he can open up an app on his phone. It’s high-tech awesome!
F-Bomb Paperweight
Okay, this is more of a gag gift for fathers with a potty mouth. I would say it’s a bit like winning the F-Bomb awards and if your dad is anything like mine, he will display this with honor. When people see it on his bookshelf or desk, they will think it’s funny, and people who know him well enough will understand exactly why it’s there.
Perpetual calendar
On top of having a potty mouth, my dad is always late. I got him a perpetual calendar for Father’s Day last year to help him remember. It didn’t really help though; he will never be on time. Actually, these calendars look very nice. They have a sort of modern industrial look. Perpetual calendars are used year after year, so this could be the last calendar he ever owns. Here is the one I bought my dad. It can be wall mounted or sit on his desk.
Game Console Ps4 Pro
Don’t tell my husband but this is what he is getting for Father’s Day this year. He has wanted the Play Station 4 Pro for a while now. I think our son is getting to the age that he will love it too. We live in a time where kids are logging into YouTube to watch other kids play video games. That’s so strange to me. My son just started doing this, so I would much rather get the Ps4 so he can watch my husband play. This way he can learn and interact instead of just watch. Here is the one I bought him. I have no idea what game to buy him though. If you have the Ps4 or are thinking about getting one, what game do think I should buy? Maybe I can get him a gift card to go with it.
